Dr.Quartey is a board-certified dermatologist born in Accra, Ghana and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University, followed by her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, then completed her dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Quartey specializes in eczema, psoriasis, pigmentary disorders, warts, skin cancer detection, and a wide breadth of skin conditions. 

She is deeply committed to providing compassionate, personalized care by building trusting relationships with her patients. Dr. Quartey believes that listening carefully to patients’ goals and collaborating on realistic treatment plans is essential to achieving the best outcomes. She stays current with the latest dermatology advances to offer tailored options that meet each patient’s unique needs.
